Who we are? Sundeala is a UK Circular manufacturer based in Gloucestershire, passionate about building a zero-waste future where environmental protection and social and economic value are fundamentally designed into every aspect of life.
For over 123 years Sundeala has manufactured innovative, high performance fibre board from 100% ‘waste’ paper. Today, Sundeala rescues a variety of ‘difficult-to-recycle’ paper and cardboard products from ending up in landfill and uses them to develop sustainable, high-performance solutions that transform, improve and replace traditional materials in industrial and construction applications.

Sundeala combines traditional, natural manufacturing methods with cutting edge research and innovative bio-engineering techniques to create durable, high performance, sustainable fibre board that can replace traditional products that rely on virgin fibres, hazardous chemicals and non-renewable materials.
Sundeala fibreboard delivers the high performance that modern construction demands without utilising unsustainable raw materials, without creating end-of-life waste, without harmful chemicals, solvents or binders.
Role in the project:
As eco-friendly board producer, Sundeala will be responsible for scaling up the proposed B3 Board production technology, and in collaboration with FiberLean Technologies and the Swedish University of Agriculture Science, they will optimise the formulation of the B3 Board.
