PROJECT COORDINATORFounded in 2016, FiberLean® Technologies is the leading global producer of Micro-Fibrillated Cellulose (MFC). Our proprietary process uses proven wet stirred media milling to separate pulp fibres into microfibrils and is robust, reliable and scalable. For many applications, fine particulate minerals are added to the process, which play an important role in the transfer of mechanical energy to the fibres. The resultant product is therefore a MFC-mineral composite. Our mission is to further industrialize and proliferate the use of Micro and Nano Cellulosics. These natural, renewable, abundant, high-performance materials have the power to lead a material science revolution towards a more sustainable future. FiberLean® Technologies is continuously establishing collaborations with leading market players and institutions to develop the applications that will make our vision a reality. FiberLean® Technologies has significant knowledge and understanding of MFC processing and how to optimise MFC products to suit different applications. We have the ability and capacity to produce MFC at lab, pilot and full industrial scale.
Role in the project:
FiberLean Technologies Limited is the coordinator of the LIFE B3 FURN project. As MFC supplier, FLTL will optimise the B3 Board composition to maximise performances by fine-tuning the FiberLean® MFC formulation. FiberLean will collaborate with the other partners to support the market introduction of the new solution, replication and transfer.
